Another Chalk Paint Project!

Today we have another Chalk paint project...prepare yourself this is number 2 of many! :)
I am so excited to show you my
Orange Chicken Wire Kitchen Memory Board

My good friend recently moved into a new house and the colors of her kitchen are orange and red. So I decided to make her something useful that also added a POP of color and had a shabby chic twist.

I found this gorgeous frame at our nearby Hospice Thrift Store for $2.50, however after a little bit of persuasion I bought it for $1.50 (every dollar counts:).

I spray painted it white and then Chalk painted over the white with Old Town Paints Color:
Tangerine

Tangerine

After it was dry I sanded the edges to shabby it up!

I love how the white shows through as well as the natural wood

I stapled a piece of chicken wire to the back and added a picture hanger.

If you aren't a orange lover you can also try these fabulous colors

You can clip on recipes, pictures, shopping lists, or whatever you want with these cute little clothespins found Here!

This is such an easy and cheap project that is super cute and totally functional! Visit your local thrift store and start crafting away!
